THEA DJORDJADZE
OUR FULL
06/07/2013 - 19/01/2014
The Georgian artist Thea Djordjadze, which is known in particular for her contribution to the Documenta 13 in 2012 in Kassel, realises sculptures and installations with humble materials borrowed from the field of traditional sculpture (such as plaster, clay, wood or metal) as well as the area of everyday surroundings (found things, glass, clothing, fabrics). The exhibition at Mudam is the result of a collaboration with the Malmö Konsthall and the Kunstverein Lingen Kunsthalle, for which Thea Djordjadze has produced a body of works thought like a vocabulary of forms, which changes at each stage of the project and is adapted in a unique way.
