"I was pointed to Bar No.1 on various occasions. It's the new Bar 30/7, very similar, but much nicer, more upscale and posh. Nobody could tell me where it is. Close to Okno, most of the people said. Nikita, a Russian friend we went lounging with on Thursday, described Bar No.1 as "the same as 30/7, just without the wild dancing and less packed". No need to say that we were curious. Our driver turned right at Okno, but there was no new club anywhere. At the end of the street I asked him to stop and we walked back (at -12 C), which made Michael complain a little. No new club in this street. Shit. How can we find it. Shortly after we are back infront of Okno. I have been there last Spring to see my DJ friend Andreas Reihse from Cologne, who had a session there. A closer look at Okno shows me a No.1 on top of the door. Surprise, Okno is Bar No.1 now. As you may know, standing on the street clueless in front of a posh club isn't positive entry karma for the face control guys. It shows clearly that you are not a regular customer, but after a short hesitation they let us in."
